Red Standard Poodle, Phydeaux
Hi Linda- Here is a picture of Phydeaux who is nearly 4 months old. He is a smart, quick learner with a great personality. Cindy is working hard with him and has been able to stay at home with him most days. On the days when she has had to be gone more than a few hours, he has been at "day care" where he has made lots of friends. On the weekends I have been taking him to our municipal dog park where he plays well with others. Cindy has been taking him to doggie school and he has learned sit, lie down, go to your house (kennel), go outside and several other useful commands. He is working on walking nicely on the left and sitting when you stop.
Phydeaux is a great dog and we are very lucky to have him in our loving home.
Thanks for your encouragement. We'll keep in touch. Regards, Richard
Red Standard Poodle, Remy
Hi Linda, you are welcome to post these pictures. She is such a blessing, even when I'm having a hard day with a lot of physical pain, I can't help but laugh at her, she has such a sweet disposition. I call her my "little piggy" because she loves to root around in the dirt and she is always making these little snorting noises. After she eats in the morning she buries her nose in my neck and gives me little snorting love nibbles and kisses for a long time as a thank you! The vet and all who see her just marvel at her beauty and color. I've had people ask me if I dye her that color! She knows treat, vitamin, sit, bed, aaachoo (that is a sneeze), and speak, all since 4 months. It is a riot to watch because she forgets what makes what noise and she will make all these funny noises until she does a sneeze or bark! I also call her the "tick" because she spends a lot of time attached to Emma's shoulder or hip by chomping on. Emma heavy coat is protection from her baby teeth and Emma just goes about her business with Remy attached! It is the funniest thing! Emma is so patient with her and very protective of her. I am so grateful for such a gorgeous girl with such wonderful personality qualities. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Whatever you ladies are doing is working!
Keep up the good work! I will send more pictures as she grows, Barb
Tuxedo Standard Poodle, Van Gough (aka "Van Goof")
Our Harley (Van Gough), he makes us laugh, gives us exercise, and supplies lots of sloppy kisses; now if he could only cook and clean house, he would be absolutely the most perfect companion one could ever have!!" Needless to say, this dog has brought great delight to us...as a retired couple, we dote on him like a grandchild...have a great day!
I'll send more pictures later...Barbara
Phantom Standard Poodle, Cosmo & Zach
Hi Linda and Julie: Penny and I and Zach wish you and yours a very blessed Christmas and a very Happy and "Productive" New Year. Elyse and her husband, Bob, were here with us for Christmas, as were Rocko and Cosmo. We thought that you might like to see the brothers, now 19 months old. I guess you would know, but Cosmo is on the left, Zach on the right. Zach is a real treasure. All of us are very close. Lots of love going on here. We took him to the Cancer Center today where I was giving a blood sample, and he was a hit. He was also ushered back into the doctor's reception room where he continued being a star. They say that they have another standard poodle serving as a therapy dog. We are still considering entering Zach into the program. They were much in agreement saying that his temperament and personality are perfect for the job. Guess you knew that, too. Zach is a big dog, about 10 pounds heavier than his brother, but we love every pound and inch of him.
More again later, Love from both of us to both of you, Arnie and Penny
Chocolate Standard Poodle, Willow & Brindle Standard Poodle, Lexi
Linda and Julie, Hope this email finds you both doing well. Lexi and Willow are doing GREAT. I can't remember the last time I have ever been so happy. As you know it was love at first sight when I found them on your Website and once I held them I knew they were the two poodles for me. I can't express the joy and love these two (Lexi/Willow) have brought into my life. I count my blessings everyday. Thanks again for your guidance and assistance with everything. You will never know how much I appreciate you. I am looking forward to my poodle family expanding and you can rest assured we will be seeing you again.
Thanks so very much, Your extended Happy Tails family Brian, Lexi and Willow / Stone Mountain, GA
Parti Standard Poodle, Pauline
Linda, Pauline has been in our house for 2 and 1/2 months. Her poodle sisters Sophie and Clara love her, and Ira and I are pretty crazy about her too. She is huge, at 4 months she weighed over 30 pounds. She goes with the big girls to get groomed and she plays constantly, either with the girls or her toys. My groomer said that the reason the other dogs get along so well with her is because she is a nice dog, I asked my vet if that is true, and he said absolutely. So not only are your dogs beautiful, they even have good personalities.
Thanks for my little girl, Joan
Black Standard Poodle, Suki
 Linda,
How do I thank you for Suki? She is everything you said she would be and is a perfect playmate for Bugsy. It is not a surprise to me that she is so smart and lovable, she is Bugsy's sister after all. As you know, I deal with pain everday and because of Bugsy & Suki, I get up every morning with them and do things that I normally have no energy to do. They make my pain easier to deal with and make me smile when I don't feel like it.
I was so surprised that the simple techniques you and Julie taught me, it was so easy to train and handle them together. To see me walking with 2 Standard Poodles at the same time "under control" is an amazing feeling. I think you and Ceaser Milan should work together! The Dog Whisper is my favorite show and is the only show that Bugsy & Suki sit and watch with me. They actually interact with the dogs on the t.v....It is a hoot to watch them!
Suki & Bugsy are just so beautiful, soft natured, easy & willing to please, & wonderful, wonderful additions to our family! I am thankful for them. Thank you, thank you, thank you for raising such wonderful companions for not just me but our whole family! I attached some pics of my "Brat Pack"
Christina, Suki, & Bugsy (Nebraska)
