Parti Standard Poodle, Gulliver

Parti Standard Poodle, Gulliver Parti Standard Poodle, Gulliver Hi Linda, Gulliver is doing fantastic !!!!!!!  I thought you might get a kick out of this picture, as we did. We call him " Ali" after the boxer Mahammad Ali because he boxes everything with his feet. He is constantly slapping everyone and everything. It is so funny we just crack up. Well my niece came over to see him and I got this picture of him in action slapping her. It is too cute !!!!!!!!!!! And please note....he did NOT make contact with her face. It was to funny. I thought you might like to see this. Just know we are enjoying him so much as is everyone else he meets. He has ton's of personality and everyday we love him more and more as it is so fun to watch him grow up and be a part of his development. Denise

Tuxedo Standard Poodle, Bugsy

Tuxedo Standard Poodle, BugsyTuxedo Standard Poodle, BugsyLinda, I don't know how to express the love I have for this dog.  Bugsy, AKA "Love Bug" has such a sense of humor that gives me a smile and laugh every day, even the days I just don't feel like smiling.  Because of Bugsy, I have found a new sense of life & I have a love for him that I just can't explain.  I live with pain everyday and it is because of Bugsy that I fight to get out of bed each morning to care for him.  We go for walks and spend a lot of time at the local park and I drive an hour once a week to take him to the HUGE dog park.  He loves to be around all kinds of dogs from a Weiner Dog to a Great Dane!  Bugsy is the talk of the town & such a huge eye catcher that I get stopped continuously to talk about how beautiful he is.....everyone wants a Bugsy!

My daughter has a Toy Poodle and they just love playing together. It's uncanny to see how Bugsy knows not to be rough with that Toy Poodle. His personality is so gentle and loving that I don't have to worry about him being 62 lbs (and growing) and the Toy Poodle only 6 lbs.

Tuxedo Standard Poodle, BugsyTuxedo Standard Poodle, BugsyBugsy is so loved by everyone and as you can see from his latest picture that he has grown into the most beautiful dog in the world.  I am so blessed to have him and I can't thank you, Julie, and his mom, "Jo-Jo" for taking such good care of him.  I can't get over how he still thinks he is 14 lbs!  You said that Julie rocked him from the beginning & boy does it show.  He will climb up on my lap to let me know he wants to rock & will not get down until I tell him to.  It has been so neat watching him grow & I look forward to each & every day with him.

Thank you for such a wonderful & trusting friend, Christina (Nebraska)

White Standard Poodle, Charlie

White Standard Poodle, Charlie~On Vacation and needing a groom~ Hi Linda, It has been a year and ½ since we picked up our beautiful puppy from the airport. And, I have to say it has been a wonderful year and ½. We are so pleased with our dog Charlie. He is exactly what you said. He is so sweet and well behaved. People that meet him cannot believe how calm and attentive he is. He quickly adapted to his new family. He is great with my two children and loves to run, but never runs out of sight. He is a delight every day. Charlie has never given us a problem since we brought him home, seriously not even a tooth mark on a shoe!! It’s wonderful to have such a good dog. He's full of life, and such a lover boy!! We are always getting compliments on our "well-behaved dog" when we take him out. If I could describe him in one word... it would be "perfect". He is always nearby, and at about 80 lbs, he still thinks he's a lap dog! Loves to give hugs, curl up on your feet, follow us around, and is the most loyal boy you could ever ask for. I couldn't be happier with our decision to get a Standard Poodle from you. Thank you so much!!! Sincerely, The Barbier Family

Tuxedo Standard Poodle, Isabella

Tuxedo Standard Poodle, IsabellaTuxedo Standard Poodle, IsabellaIsabella is a wonderful girl. She is very easy going and a lover of people and other dogs. She travels well on trips and is calm and quiet around the house. She wakes me up each morning at the same time by talking to me until I get up. It really is funny to see! At least she waits until 7:00 am or later. It used to be 6:00 am on the dot! Thanks for breeding such a wonderful dog! We love her. Sincerely, Kathy

Black Standard Poodle, Sasha

Black Standard PoodleMs. Zimmerman: I just had to send you a little update on Sasha. She is doing so great. She has already learned "sit" and "down" (lie down) and we are working on "wait". She also lets me know every time she needs to go out. I can't believe this dog. I have only had her a week and she is so wonderful. I can't tell you what a joy she has been to me this week. My husband is gone from Sunday to Friday each week (with no communication of any sort) and Sasha has been such a joy. She sleeps with me all night without a single movement. She also seems to always come and snuggle with me when I seem to need it the most. She has already become a very important part of my family. Thank you so much for all your help. I plan to be back next year for a baby sister for her.

Please feel free to list this on your customer feedback page. I hope all know that you are a wonderful person and raise wonderful pups. Thanks again. Amy

Tuxedo Standard Poodle, Josie

Tuxedo Standard Poodle, JosieTuxedo Standard Poodle, JosieHi, Linda, I thought you might like some pics of Cheyenne (now Josie---short for Josephine). Isn't she pretty? These pictures were taken today. By the way, Josie also has a middle name, as do all my dogs. Her full name is Josephine Louise, so sometimes she's called by J-Lo. (Jennifer Lopez should be flattered.) She is actually named after one of my aunts and one of my sisters. They, too, are flattered. Josie has been one of the easiest pups to raise I have ever had, and I have had 50+ years of dogs in my life, including some amazingly smart ones. She loves literally everyone, and she is polite about showing it. You did a good job of socializing her and seeing to it that she had a great start in life. Her groomer is absolutely in love with her. (You may have another customer from San Angelo one day.) Josie is a pure pleasure. She nailed Doggie Door 101 the first evening we had her, and there were no mistakes in the house after just a very few days of being here. The mistakes she did make were made in route to the doggie door and, I believe, were only because she was so young and still developing complete bladder control. There has been no serious chewing or destructiveness. I keep waiting for the "real" puppy to step forward, but Josie just seems to instinctively know what she should and should not do. After good night hugs and kisses on the bed, she chooses to sleep on the floor at the foot of the bed for the rest of the night, and she takes herself out, if needed, during the night. She is so observant. She taught herself to sit when the command was given to the other dogs in the household. I didn't even have to explain the command to her or prompt her through the maneuver a single time. (I almost feel like I'm not doing my job because she doesn't need a lot of explanation about the expectations I have for her.) When learning to sit, she just watched what the other dogs did when I asked them to sit, and now she sits on command when asked. She learned this on her own only a few days after joining the family when she was 8 weeks old. By now, of course, she knows a number of commands, and when I get more serious about teaching her, I am sure she will be able to do just about anything. I tease my college students that she has a better command of grammar than they do. Thanks for such a healthy, happy, amazing addition to our "pack." She's a joy and a dearly loved family member.
P.S. One of the pics is of all the "French" girls in the family. Two French bulldogs and Joise. Lynette (Texas)

Chocolate Standard Poodle, Teddy

Chocolate Standard Poodle, TeddyChocolate Standard Poodle, TeddyLooking for a standard poodle, I was blessed to have found www.htpoodles.com. I wanted an adolescent standard and it had to be a brown one. HT Poodles had the only adolescent brown standard one I could find anywhere!!! I talked with Linda at length as I was leery about buying a dog over the internet. I checked references and those that I spoke with could not say enough good things about Linda and her standards. Linda was very caring and considerate with each phone call I made to her. That helped me in my decision. Teddy was flown into Washington Dulles Airport. When we opened his crate, I was on my knees to meet and greet him. He immediately put his paws around my neck and hugged me. We did not move for about five minutes. I whispered to him that he was home and I was his new mommy. It felt like we knew each other but had not seen each other for a very long time. We were meant to be. He navigated through the airport like a champ. I have birds and was concerned about his reaction to them, but Linda told he he had been around her African Gray and, sure enough, upon arriving home, he took one look at my three birds and walked in the other direction. I could not have asked for a better dog.

Chocolate Standard Poodle, TeddyChocolate Standard Poodle, TeddyHe is smart, adjusted well, and has passed the AKC Good Citizen test. His vet thinks he is almost human because of his beautiful, intelligent, amber eyes. While we are on a walk, I am constantly stopped and asked about Teddy. I receive compliments everywhere we go about how gorgeous he is. Also, I have been asked if it was ok for passers by to take his picture. I always respond, "of course" as Teddy smiles for the camera. He is a gentle dog and very playful. He has never growled or shown aggression in any way, shape or form. Consider me one of those references that cannot say enough good things about Linda and her standards. One day, I intend to add another standard to our family, and it will be from HTPoodles!

Take care and Happy Thanksgiving!!!!! Love, Sharon
